Alex and Sol seems really different but they are actually really similar. The way they deal with difficult situations how they are sarcastic and joking around in some situations. Also they both rally like Laurie. Alex is in love with her an Sol like her like his Granddaughter. Both like her in a special way (p. 98 and p.145). They both can play guitar. Sol does it professional and it is really special for him. Alex just play it for fun but after the concert it means more for him and maybe one day he also want to do it professional (p.103-104). But they are also things were they not similar like Alex really think that the live is not a big thing and things are not so important but Sol really think that the live is really important but it was probably due to the alter (p.73).
